- 01Share the goal
Describe your built-in, storage, furniture, or finish-carpentry idea, your city, known conditions, and desired timing. You do not need finished drawings or an exact service category to start.
- 02Review the project
Handyman Harman considers fit and, where appropriate, visits to inspect the actual conditions. You discuss workable options, materials, preparation, and finish so the approach suits both the result and the investment.
- 03Agree the work
You and Handyman Harman agree the written scope, assumptions, responsibilities, customer price, and timing before work begins. Any included specialist work or separate design phase is identified clearly.
- 04Carry out the agreed work
Handyman Harman schedules and carries out its agreed responsibilities. If a smaller decision needs your input, the affected work pauses for your direction. Material changes to scope, cost, sequence, or responsibility require a written change order and your approval before proceeding.
Who does the work
Responsibilities belong in the scope.
An agreed carpentry project may involve Handyman Harman's own work, specialist work brought in and coordinated within that scope, or a recommendation to someone you engage directly.
For included specialist work, Handyman Harman's written scope and estimate identify the work, its responsibilities, and your agreed price. A specialist you engage directly provides separate terms. Contracting, permits, scheduling, payment, and other responsibilities are defined for each project.
If a related task makes sense alongside an existing carpentry job, Handyman Harman may agree to include it. Discuss the addition before work proceeds; miscellaneous repairs are not a standalone service.
Price and design
Know what you are agreeing to.
Work is generally priced on a project basis, with the agreed scope, assumptions, and cost basis clear before work starts.
If the conversation expands into substantive design development or 3D drawings, that becomes a separately agreed, billable design phase at an hourly rate stated in the written terms.
A design fee may be credited toward the final project estimate when the written terms provide for it and you approve the scope and sign the project. The credit is conditional, rather than automatic.
